School and tertiary students can learn more about how the Port of Townsville operates by taking a special tour of the facility. Conducted by a Port of Townsville employee, the 45-minute tour showcases the port's land holdings, berths, buildings, and other infrastructure.

Along the route your tour guide will give a running commentary, explaining who uses each facility and how it operates.

During the tour you will witness port operations and shipping in action - your tour guide will answer any questions that might arise during the course of the journey.
