Corporate Identity

Our corporate identity was given a complete overhaul in 2002, culminating with the release of a new logo. The logo aims to strengthen our corporate identity by creating a consistent and cohesive image that will showcase the port as an efficient, progressive and modern organisation.

It was designed to represent Nexus, a centre for import and export in North Queensland. The logo features a dynamic and bold symbol reminiscent of a ship's propeller, with the use of converging lines to represent latitude and longitude and colour to symbolise the meeting of land and sea.

The four segments, or 'blades', represent the port's four key elements the Corporation takes into consideration in all its dealings: industry, trade, community, and environment.
