Noise and seagrass studies will be carried out during the construction phase to monitor impacts however the Environmental Impact Statement indicates that there is no expected impact on marine mammals and reptiles in terms of habitat disturbance or route disturbance.

Within the precinct, environmental standards will be high. Stormwater drainage systems will be designed and constructed to include water quality improvement devices. This will lead to a significant improvement compared to facilities currently being used further upstream.
