The Ports of Townsville and Lucinda are closely monitoring developments surrounding COVID-19. The Port of Townsville has a response team in place and we are taking active, precautionary measures to increase our response as needed.

Our highest priority is the safety of our staff, customers and our community.

The Port is an essential service provider for the community and for the economy, ensuring that the goods people require for their lives every day are available. 

The Port will continue to remain open unless a requirement to close becomes unavoidable.

Townsville Port is following all Australian Federal Government, Queensland Health, Maritime Safety Queensland and Border Force recommendations regarding the management and operations of all commercial shipping.
