Located 1,360 kilometres north of Brisbane, The Port of Townsville is a world-class gateway for trade and investment.
The Port's role is to responsibly facilitate North Queensland's trade through the port. We work together with shipping lines, tenants and customers to ensure the efficient and reliable movement of goods and passengers, integrating environmental, social and economic sustainability initiatives into all areas of port operations.
Comprehensive Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and an Additional Environmental Impact Statement (AEIS) addressing State and Commonwealth requirements has been completed for the Townsville Port Expansion Project, which includes the Channel Upgrade.
