Online Induction

Please note there are two types of inductions dependent on who you are and what you are doing within the port.

1. Port of Townsville Employee & Contractor Induction:
   For people employed or contracted for works directly from Port of Townsville Limited only (approximately 30 - 40 minutes).
2. Port Users & Port Customer:
   For people who are employed or contracted by businesses that operate on port lands, who are NOT directly engaged by Port of Townsville Limited (approximately 15 – 20 minutes).

The induction process will incur a fee as outlined in the Port's 'Other Charges Schedule' that can be viewed under Port Charges.

In the event that the Inductee is unsuccessful in passing; the Inductee is required to complete the induction training again until successfully passed.

On successful completion of the required program, please go to Port of Townsville Limited's Administration office on Benwell Road to organise payment and receive your official induction card.

BEFORE YOU VISIT THE PORT:

Please ensure you have completed the Online Port Induction and the necessary application forms before visiting our Reception Area.

Once you have completed the relevant applications, contact our team on (07) 4781 1500 or info@townsvilleport.com.au to arrange a time to collect your access/MSIC cards.

You will not be able to collect your access cards without a prior appointment.
